Hi Everyone,
I hope that your semester is going well so far. If you don’t know my name is Brittannie and I am the current president of the Hearts ‘n’ Crafts club here at Trinity. Last year we had a lot of fun events and program set up and we hope to have the opportunity to do the same again this year. This Wednesday, September 9th, all the clubs will be participating in the Club Fair in O’Connor hall, please stop by and show Hearts ‘n’ Crafts some love. We would love to see some new, and old, faces. The fair is from 1-5 pm. Also I will be posting our the time and date of our first meeting sometime soon, so keep a look out for that information.
Hope to see you soon!!
Brittannie
The Hearts ‘n’ Crafts club will resume next semester. I know that there is a lot of work that everyone has to finish before exams, so Mrs. Whitty and I have decided that its best to leave on a a good note and resume next semester.
We hope you have a wondeful summer
This past Thursday the Hearts ‘n’ Crafts club went over to Children’s Hospital and donated our baby blankets. We are all proud to say that we helped make a difference in our community. We hope to have more people the next time we make a donation to an organization.
Our next meeting is on Thursday April 15. Come and join us for the meeting and help us finish out new project, “Sisterhood of the Traveling Scarf.”
Hope to see you Thursday!!!
Although we haven’t confirmed it yet, this coming Thursday, April 8, we hope to travel to Children’s Hospital of Washington DC to donate our baby blankets. We have been holding our blankets for a few months, trying to figure out where we wanted to donate them and we finally settled on Children’s. So if you would like to participate, please show up this Thursday in room 252 at 4:30.
Now remember i did say that we might make it to Children’s. If we don’t, we are still working on our new project ” Sisterhood of the Traveling Scarf.” SO if you know how yo knit or want to learn to knit, still show up and prepare to have a nice relaxing time.
Crafts Club!!!!
This week in Hearts ‘n’ Crafts we are working on scarves that we plan to donate to a few people in the staff. We call it our “Sisterhood of the Traveling Scarf!” We all do a little part of different scarves then pass it along to the next person, until we think its done. Then we give it to a few staff members of our choice. If you like doing thing with your hand and doing “crafty” things, then stop by and join on the fun that only Hearts ‘n’ Crafts can provide. Its all for a good cause. And if you don’t know hot to Knitt we’ll teach you!!! NO EXCUSES not to show up.
We are in Room 251 on Tuesdays and 252 on Thursdays. No emails or other notification necessary. Just show up, enjoy yourself, and become apart of the group. Newbies are welcome.
