Mission Statement

Mission: The Trinity Communication Club, in line with the mission of Trinity University and the National Communication Association, promotes communication as the discipline that studies communication through humanistic, social scientific and aesthetic inquiry. The Communication Club serves the students who are its members, as well as the students of the larger Trinity community, by enabling and supporting their academic and professional interests in research and employment. Dedicated to fostering and promoting free and ethical communication, the Communication Club promotes the appreciation of the importance of communication in public and private life, the application of competent communication to improve the quality of human life and relationships, and the use of knowledge about communication to solve human problems.
Purpose of the Communication Club: 1) Raise awareness of the study and field of communication 2) Invite communication/media professionals to campus to talk to students (both members and non-members) about careers in communication/journalism/media 3) Learn about opportunities for networking, internships and jobs |
